This report is the result of a visioning event with members of Christ Church led by Potentials East senior consultant Janet Marshall. The visioning conversations invited people to think imaginatively about the congregation’s future. We explored the church’s ministry within Dartmouth, and the ways Christ Church can best connect with people in its changing neighbourhood.
What is God’s call to Christ Church as it looks into the next few years of its ministry?
From this process 6 priorities emerged as the basis for Christ Church’s vision.

• Building and nurturing our multigenerational community.
• Continuing to develop diverse liturgies that encompass both the best of traditional Anglican practice and the innovative edge.
• Develop and grow programs of compassionate outreach and justice-building that connects with our neighbours and the wider world.
• Invite spiritual inquiry – offering guidance and learning.
• Connect with people under 40: paying special attention to building the presence and participation of these generations within our congregation.
• Build our technological comfort and capacity.
